This boss was too predictable and easy. Then again, most of the time dracula is kind of predictable, except for the dracula vs alucard fight in sotn. Guess thats why death has always seemed harder to me....

Harmony of Despair needs to add Dracula-Soma as a boss for their last chapter >:) He'd be the hardest to beat and he'd give the rarest drops, and his soul would be epic. That and they need a better Chaos Ring that only Soma can use. Something like "it boosts all stats according to how many souls you have". Not some faster MP Regen bullshit.

@AdrianApocalypse I don't use souls that much personally. On Soma I like having all strength items with the death scythe and death robe equipped. It's more fair than the valmanway, plus scythes are just cool. Ive been trying to get Richter up to full power as fast as I did Soma, but konami just had to give the belmonts a handicap.

@Cybrisk Personally I do what I call the "Dracula-Soma" build which is basically focusing Soma's equipment on his Dracula moves. I have to admit, it makes things tough sometimes, but overall it kicks major ass. I hear ya on the Belmonts though, they really need to give them more. On the brightside they can wear Fuuma's armor which I hear is pretty damn good. Still, I think they could use a little more.

@AdrianApocalypse It's not that their underpowered, they're just not equal in level up. A fully maxed Richter could keep up with a dual wield valmanway succubus soma easily. Problem is, hunting down all of his subweapons THEN upgrading them to full power is close to exhausting.

@Asmo123456789101 He gets it if you get to go farther than the part where 'Mina' dies, but its really a Doppleganger. Wear Mina's Talisman, which you can get from Arikado in the Demon Guest House, so you can get Arikado to come and say its a fake. You will NOT become the dark lord and continue the game to the point when Soma CAN go to the Mine of Judgement and the the Abyss.

There is not exact information about it.

Julius is from the belmont family. There was a time that the belmonts disappear between last years of XVIII century and beginning of the XIX century.

@alexriveratr you are right but, what happened is that Richter passed on the wip to the morris family cause he renounsed the title of vampire hunter for having evil in his heart dus being controled by shaft(ctlvn:soth) and after years of being in exile in 1999 there was no other choice but to look for a desendant to stop Dracula once and for all so they looked for julios who ultimatly defited Dracula and seled him in the eclipse dus stoping his resurection cicle and then suffering amnesia :p

I think this is a better final boss than the original mode of DOS.

Every Castlevania game the last boss is Dracula, in Dawn of Sorrow we have a major step back, since you fight a gigantic, slow, boring demon, who appeared as a mere accident of someone's greed. Julius mode has a much better final boss!

But in Aria of Sorrow it's the essence of Chaos, so it's better and more intense than Dracula! In the other hand, AOS julius mode you fight the "accident", so it's kind the other way around.

AoS Julius mode is really nothing more than a character swap. And since you cant, as julius, equip the Giant bat, Succubus and Flame Demon souls, the battle ends at Graham
