As for the odor that accompanies the gas there are things you can take. HI! This would be the first video I've seen from you......too funny but oh so true!!! You are NOT the only one with this problem. I've clogged my toilet many times...lol embarrassing but true. I have to flush after each peice...lol and sometimes that still doesn't help. I notice if I eat fatty things, my fart smells really bad...if i stick to mainly protein, i hardly fart but the poop is solid....what can u do?? Great video!! ~viki

found you through 24freak, i have ALL of the same problems and preop i had the opposite , i'd take that back anyday, i am on colace, a stool softner, about the odor, that's supposedly the protein, i drink hood carb countdown milk so not too much odor, UNLESS i'm bound up, and i have severe pain with my gas...grrrrrr! when you mentioned about the toilet clogging, i burst out laughing, it happens to me too!!!! not to mention when you finally go how much poop there is....lol

lol u are silly! yea i have the farting probs, and running my girls out of the room but they get me back later on for it! pooping probs i dont have yet, could be because of my vomiting issues at the moment and not getting much down at all except liquids... beano might help on keeping the gas down? not sure about the toilet unless u get one of those industrial ones? My Dr office did already suggest in the paperwork that BEANO is a good choice for gas, not sure if it works but I might need to find out passed on your video lol

Lol I cant quit laughing now ya have my husband going laughing OMG I am going to pee my pants, i dont think there is anything we can do mine smeels too even worse if it could be since I became pregnant, My poop was hard to untill i was in between 12 and 18 months it's better now, my brother has had ds 8 years ago same problem just worse. lol! my boyfriend is 6 years post op RNY. he has all of the same problems that you discuss, maybe WORSE! it was a concern of mine with WLS ( i have a lapband). I do pass gas more often and going # 2 can be an issue, but it is nothing like what my man goes through. lol. i want to kill him sometimes too. we have a name for his "smell", we call it mexico. it helps to find a way to laugh as you live with it. it will not be going away anytime soon. sorry to "drop that bomb on you". happy farting!

One more thing I heard a DR say farts come for non digested carbohydrates. I wonder if you cut down on carbs if it would help?
