haha... are you serious dude? you gave it a little bit of gas and kept tapping the killswitch... so silly, when a motor "cams" as you call it or "hits" as others might say, it sounds nothing like that. if your bike actually sounds like that after the equipment you installed you need to let a professional look at it. secondly any real mechanic that knows what theyre doing will tell you to rev the engine about 4000-5000 RPMs for 5-10 minutes to seat in a new cam.. so hope it dont blow up on ya!

i only need a little bit of a boost it will let me put a bigger turbo on it i have had a long talk to to a few top fuel drag car drivers and nos and turbo go hand in hand just want a xr tht is over the top i want a cr 500 to ride my xr will be a road bike when its finished i have ridden a lot of high performance bikes and i want to prove that i can turn a xr into a fast bike i love the xr 650 they are a great bike with plenty of balls

In the woods or anywhere tight his bike is better due to the weight difference, but where there is ANY stretch that is open and I can crack the throttle I blow past him uphill, downhill, anywhere,
put a nos kit on they are so easy to make my 250 l will blow that away you all will see what i meen when i put it on there is so much the xrs can do let it breath or it wont work that good why put a hot cam on if you dont do the rest finish it then you will have a sweet ride i can blow away all the 450 out there on my 250 bro but i did a hell of a lot to mine but i love that part of mecanics all is possible give me your email and i will tell you what to do i can give you all what you want
@golbaldoc1 I hope you know that Nos is a limited resource during a race. When you are out riding baja, why the hell do you want a Nos Bottle. It gets in the way, and it will only give a boost for a certain amount of time, after that, the bottle becomes a nuisance. Do you know much about Nitrous and intake? You have to have a kit, and at most, a bottle.
@bandguy360 it means that he got a new cam put in his engine. you can put them in four strokes, and they are meant to open the valves up more letting more air in and more exhaust out. witch gives the bike a few more hp.
Dude! Calm down with the throttle for a hot minute! How are we supposed to hear the cam when your chomping away at the throttle like that? Once you've calmed down, I'd relly like to hear it.
hey you should have some baffles in your exhaust. I took mine out cause it made it louder but it took power away and burnt the exhaust valves...expensive repair. Just a heads up
something wrong with your bike. My friend has a XR650 with the same cam and it doesnt do that. Thats not a lopping idle from the cam, thats reving.
