im just saying i was planning on getting a few and i was wondering if there was any serious pointers that i should know about the hang drum on its own, like playing it is there something i should know ?
What mic are you using? I just bought a condensor mic and havnt been able to use it yet. That mic you are using looks like a normal voice mic. Help me out brother. :)
Hang Drum, but they are very hard to come by and the company apparently stopped making them. But Pantheon Steel in USA makes something similar called a HALO, but it has a waiting list and also it cost about $15OO
you're not the only one - lots of people say what you say. I think it's because they're frustrated at how hard it is to get a Hang, or they base their opinion on a single video. It was the first song in the set, and no - it was not THAT for an hour. THAT was an improvised intro. I play with a band and have other compositions that I think are more expressive.
I agree with you on some things. However, imagine an hour of steel drums or a glockenspeil... or, 10 minutes!
"1750" (assuming U.S. dollars) is a lot less than I expected for something so rare, handcrafted, and handtuned that lasts forever. Heck, dummers will pay that much for just mass produced cymbals!
very nice.tranquility with a tempo. i wish you were my nieghbor.

Toujours un plaisir de t'entendre.
Je serais très heureux si un jour je pouvais donner au hang autant que toi. Mais que d'heures de travail et de plaisir tu tois avoir derrière toi...!
Je ne me lasse pas de t'entendre.
(Always a pleasure to ear you. Hope I will give so much than you a day.
I can listen you again and again and again, always with the same pleasure.
Excuse my bad english)
