My last church played Israel Houghton's music heavily. Multiculturalism has nothing to do with race, and is not about forcing someone to practise all cultures, but allowing individuals to choose their culture. You deny this church the right to choose their culture, and actually oppose multiculturalism.

Be the church God wants you to be and don't copy what another church is doing because it is successful for them.

They arn't 'trying to sound like hillsong' Right now in the culture we are in, God is calling many churches to have a full band with players who are not afraid to worship him in every way possible. It's about connecting with the current generation and this is how you do it. Notice the amount of people outside of the band giving their all in worship. It obviously works. It's not a competition to see who is the best, It's all about worship and giving it all to him in whatever way you can.

I can understand your points, I didn't mean to sound so annoyed in my post, I just can't stand the lack of creativity in worship with nearly every large church trying to copy Hillsong.

You don't always have to have a full band to be able to connect with God in worship. God will still be in the midst of the worship if it's just someone playing a guitar or keyboard.

It is all about worship I agree but lets try and be a bit more creative.

this song is absolutely amazing! we sang this at our school assembly and everyone just totally got into it.

one teacher told us that he had the gift to see angels and that when we were singing there were over 100 angels in our auditorium worshipping with us.

it was overall a fantastic extended worship service!
