Only problem is, having one eye totally blind causes loss of depth perception....and the depth of the makeup effect isn't realistic.

Not bad for a quick fix, however. :)

Right now the missing eye looks even. What if you glue a layer of cotton wool over the cardboard? I think it might give an effect of scratched/injured flesh there.
