i saw a jeep gc on craigslist and i test drove it. its got a 2in body lift and the guy said he replaced the stering box the stabilizer bar and all that stuff. Its really nice, 155k miles on it but the only issue i found was the steering felt a little loose to me. it might just be the way they are but i thought it felt loose.

I have a question, I see you have aftermarket foglights, ( I just bought a used 2004 grand cherokee freedom edition, but I noticed the previous buyer bought it without foglights) I would like to install these lights, could you possibly tell me where they hook up to electrically? @ustasanick Thanks man. I bought the lights off of ebay and installed them myself. My jeep came with factory fog lights when we bought it. I am not sure how you would mount them without the holes. I guess if you fabricated the holes and bought lights it wuold work. Just keep in mind the 2004 WJs have a different fog light assembly than the 2002! Hope that helps

My Jeep has the factory foglight holes, just no lights, i guess the previous owner took them out or maybe they were optional on the Freedom Editions (which is mine). My only issue is I cannot locate the car's electrical harness where it would hook up...Yes I know '02's have the more rectangular versus '04 circular foglight holes...

@N2369Z So in other words, you are a poser for the fact that you have a lifted jeep and it never hits a dirt road. That is a shame, those things perform nicely off-road. I work on trucks alot so i know what is "capable" or not. That model does just fine off road. Now i'm not saying that it should be run through 10ft deep mud holes, but it will handle trails and such.

Nice WJ. Too bad you're getting rid of it. What do you plan on replacing it with? Only 15-16 mpg highway though? My '99 WJ gets about 16/25 City/Highway with about 2.25in lift. Maybe it's the tire size and loss of torque resulting in downshifting?

I have a 4.5 inch lift. With JKS disconnects. Gotta get a new drive shaft when you lift it. I love the lift. I put 18 wheels on mine.

does the 4" lift sacrifice handling on the highway and roads and i was deciding between smaller tires and a lower lift or getting the 33"s and the 4" kit but im a little worried about flipping. is it a noticeable change in center of gravity to the point where if you were to swerve to avoided a deer,accident etc it could result in flipping? -thanks man

@ilftw8 um that im not sure. ive never had to swerve that severely. but with physics principles in effect you can assume the higher the ride the more easily it will flip. i havent flipped yet, so its all good
