Isn't interesting that we are constantly told to be tolerant, inclusive and diverse but whenever a white person portrays a minority on stage it is taboo. In William and Mary's version of Cabaret last Fall a black guy pretended he was a white jew, complete with an "accent". Is that racist?
ok. this is the last time i'm explaining this. villain of show=white woman pretending to be asian. villain is defeated by two actual asians who realize that she is (guess what?) evil. so, the evil white woman exploiting minorities goes to JAIL while her subjugated victims are freed and one of them even gets the girl (she chooses him over a white guy, actually). if you're not satisfied with this explanation (which of course you won't be), just leave me alone and go protest or something
Yes! Surely you're implying we promote another one of these excellent play sets in the 1920s! Let's move on to blackface and portrayal of other minorities for the sake of history simply because things like this should be repeated while we're still struggling for equality!

Oh no! A video promoting a play set in the 1920s! How shameful that this is allowed in modern society.

That's waisis! I'm a lonely liberal who can only find joy in trolling college theatre trailers.
