  • man the konix speedking 3 joystick these were the shitest joystick ever made, don't believe try to play decathlon or any sports games like that, you'll see what i mean.

  • good job with the best game ever on top of the n64 pyramid

  • Great video and some good pickups. The Konix joystick was also released over here in the UK for the Commodore Amiga but it was called a Speedking.

  • man i should talk to you to buy some of your 3rd party controllers lol i LOVE 3rd party controllers and peripherals in general...ive always been a big fan of everything from joysticks to weird controllers, steering wheels, flight pads, etc...makes the games more exciting

  • Red ant pile :------D

  • Epyx 500XJ joystick is one of the best! There's also a version for the Commodore and Atari systems, which is awesome.

  • Would you feel comfortable sharing your ebay name with us? i would be interested in buying any overstock games that you are selling

  • @Kooldewdguy Enh...I really don't like to sell stuff to viewers. I have a few things to trade. Send me a PM if interested.

  • @vintagevideogamegeek I understand, i was just wondering becuase you always seem to find the best games! haha

  • @exposed97 Thankfully I have avoided cursed items thus far.

  • in the atari fb2 by pressing the joystick up 1 down 9 up 7 and down 2 or four i forget you can get the hack

  • @voraciousbear Thanks, I'll have to try that.

  • in the atari fb2 by pressing the joystick up 1 down 9 up 7 and down 2 or four i forget

  • i found majoras mask collectors edition aat the flea market and golden eye

  • I own an epyx controller for the 2600 and misc.

It's a left-handed controller, I find. I also know at least one guy at this flea market who sells most of his titles for cheap.

  • I'm glad you said you're not an expert, E . P . Y . X ...maybe epyx lol ;)

  • @P5BDeluxeWiFi Aw man, that was bad. LOL

  • i was told to go away from a game stall before for knowing to much (i didnt realy i protended) and advising people not to buy ther games . . . all turned out well though and other stalls welcomed me for geting them more sales . . .so going to those places protending your an expert epic lols to be had

  • dodge ball for NES is hilarious, that game is so fun.

  • your tip at 8:05 is spot on, I couldn't have worded it any better. I don't even bother going to booths like that because they DO try to take advantage of people who don't know the true value of games. I saw someone trying to sell Mario/duck Hunt for 12 bucks at one of those kind of places. Old doesn't always equal rare and expensive, that's what shoppers need to educate themselves on.

  • @Captain8Bit Thanks Cap. I'm hoping to get back to this same flea market sometime this summer!

  • I love Flea markets, people have no idea what they are throwing out. I got A NES, castlevania1 and 2 (boxed), zapper, advantage and duckhunt (loose) for £10!

  • @8BitPicklez Sweet deal!

  • Konix Speedking joystick. Retro Gamer magazine had a feature about it some months ago, it was probably a bit popular in the UK.

  • The Epyx controller was my favorite for the C64. Very durable. Not surprised that it still works. It was notable for the quality of the microswitches and the ergonimics. Great find!

  • dayum, those mario 64's still sell for 20+ bucks

  • Can you tell me if the fake Nintendo controller works?

  • @Michel4713 Yes. It take some getting used to, but it does work.

  • Dose that fake NES controller work?

  • @Michel4713 Yep.

  • I got some of these epyx controllers in thisatari bundle

  • thats what you get for wearing mandals

  • Konix is a British company.

  • I have SM64 and MK64. I want Super Smash Bros. since I already have melee and brawl. My brother wants Golden Eye.

  • golden eye 007 was the best. some hackers should port it to pc and make an online version. :D

  • I DID IT ALL FOR THE NOOKIE!!!! THE WHAT? THE NOOKIE!!!

  • LOL you never won

  • You wouldn't happen to know the name brand of the sandles you show in this video? I'd like to get a pair, they're nice. Thanks

  • Gold-fucking-Eye!!!!!!!!

  • It seems at every flea market or car boot sale or yard sale there are always gaming related stuff

  • i have a 500xj 4 the 2600 and that might be my next video

  • yourvoice reminds me of Emo Phillips

  • NO FAIR!! theres only crap at my flea market. D*X

  • Don't you mean you kept all the games "except" for one copy of Super Mario 64? After all these years, I'm still editing your stuff!!

  • @gusmc01 I think I liked it better when you didn't have high-speed Internet access.

  • @gusmc01 OK, I fixed it.

  • I think they're connected to have four to play warlord and versions of Pong

  • lol ants,..you are killing me..lol

  • Hey man, it hurt.

  • I would love to go do that. sounds like a good haul there.

  • Super Smash Bros. ?! I can't find that game anywhere

  • Why do you hate Mario Kat 64 i love that game!

  • Because I'm bad at it.

  • mario kart 64 is so awesome...I see why some of your friends tried to kill you

  • oh man, you got to learn Mario Kart 64, next to Worms, it is my favorite game ever. the key is, if you fall behind, get the spiked turtle shell and take those fools to school! NO MERCY.

  • Growing up, I only had 3 N64 games. Super Mario 64, Mario Kart 64 and Diddy Kong racing (which I hardly played). Mario 64 and Mario Kart however, I played so much it made the system worth it. I hope you did keep Mario Kart it was a really fantastic game. However I know how you feel. When I was in college I bought Smash Brothers for N64, then all my friends would always beat up on me in it. Great games on that system.

  • I kept it!

  • Ah that is fantastic, I love that game and is great for an N64 collection.

  • i like NES max, makes silver surfer easier to pla

  • Jesus himself couldn't make silver surfer easier.

  • wot i mean is the turbo controller more specifically the B button cuz then u cud just focus more on the game instead of rapidly tapping the B button over and over

  • LOL

  • y have some made a thumb pad for ATARI 2600?!?!!? I hate the TMJ type clicking on my joysticks!! I've had this 2600, for maybe 12 years and i can't believe the joysticks have held up. Any electrical engineeers out there?? Make a thumbpad!!!

  • you are the first person I've ever heard of who doesn't like Goonies 2

  • same hear on the game boy advance

  • I have been to a lot of swap meets but i have never seen a flea market, like the ones in alexdemoted's videos. My swap meet is in a HUGE college parking lot. There are some good deals there, but they are hardddddd to find.

  • there was a console project named "konix multi system" made in the uk around 1989!there are like only 3 vids related to iit here on youtube!on 1 of them there´s a link(wich youtube doesnt let me post on the commment box) to a page dedicated to the story of the sistem!and its a great story!check it out!and if your nes stick has something to do with that konix, then you have a lost piece of video gamming history!if not, bummer:)!good vid!

  • super smash bros is probably worth alot.

    because its an original

  • wow thanks for the tips

  • I have the same 3rd party controller that you picked up for the NES with the traditional Joystick, but it's for the Atari 2600! It doesnt have that sticker on though, its completely black, but exactly the same shape. Weird, huh?

  • Very weird.

  • I have the exact same one with NES inputs. It was thrown in for free with some flightstick too when I bought a dreamcast for $10 @ thrift. I like the way the joystick clicks.

  • Me too! I like this controller more than I thought I would. I even picked up a second one a few weeks later.

  • hey man keep the super smash bros. is really good

  • Maybe it's a sega master system controller. I think they used the same conectors as atari.

  • Goonies II has nice music though. I have it on the nes (non emulator)

  • I have all those 64 games. ...Oh, the good times!

PLAY SMASH BROS. At least play it, if not keep it!

  • I kept it!

  • Good finds and good tips.

  • Nice score on the complete Ranger X, it's a great game.

  • great video! =]

  • woah im in ottawa

  • Thanks friend. Don't give up hope. I'm sure there's a cheap 6-button out there with your name on it!

  • Nice Video.

When i seen your last part with the 6 button genesis pads i went "damn" cause I want 1 but i don't want to pay the ebay prices that people are selling them for.

I got a JVC X'Eye recently and realized that the original sega genesis controllers are ok but the cord is too short and they just aren't as nice a controller.

    Great finds!

  • ugh, im horrible at mario kart lol

  • Yes, thank you! I'm not the only one!

  • dude, your not the only one. the only one i have ever gotten far in in the ds one!

  • I used to have the Epyx controller, back in 87-88, I think. It was my personal favorite controller for playing C64 games. To use it, you put your left hand under it to click the fire buttons. I don't remember that it had those start, select buttons (visually, they're quite awful). Perhaps mine was an older version. Anyway, it was a damn good joystick.

And my last one. I was into video games during the 80s, but after selling my C64, none of the new machines caught my attention.

  • Right on man. I don't know if you watch my videos or not but in the newest episode of my series entitled Recently Acquired Games I got a NES Max. But the buttons feel spongy. Like there is a weird resistance going on there. It could be worn out. Do the buttons on yours feel like that?

  • Hmmm...no, mine feels okay. Did you open up the controller and take a look inside? Could be there's some dirt in there or something.

  • Yeah that's what I was thinking. That or it is just worn out. I will open it up and have a look.

  • If I had any controllers for my Ng4 I would buy one of those mario 64 carts off you in a heart beat. Worth 10 bucks to me easy! *Sigh* unfortunetly I only have the system itself.. no controllers or games. (Old roommate cleaned me out but left system.) Hah I always liked Goonies 2. Super Dodgeball is awesome as well. I had Dodgeball on the PS1. ahh memories..

  • What's an Ng4? :-) Come now, surely you can find a controller somewhere.

That dodgeball game on the PS1 is NOT on par with the original. I don't even think they are directly related.

  • You are right. They are not. However you there were VERY few dodge ball games released in the US, so in my head they are all kind of kin.

Yeah I could find a controller, but I haven't really been thinking about the old N64 till recently. I have a ton of stuff with different peices missing for example, a fully functioning sega genesis without a power cable, I have games, controllers and cables for a Saturn but no actually Saturn unit, and my Atari 2600 needs a new um.. adapter for the TV thing.

  • LOL...so what you're saying is you have yourself a video game graveyard? Boy, get on eBay and bring those systems back to life! You need to branch out from the NES games once and awhile!

  • Your right about that. Hahah! I do have other working systems. (Mostly a bit more modern.) Like Ps2, X-box, Wii, and an Snes. I'll have to do a collection video because I do have some neat odditys like the Wizardry game for the Ps2. No one has that but me. Along with some of my Ps1 titles like 'Rpg Maker' and a couple others. Also I actually own a Dex Drive. Hehe.

Biggest video game nostalgia comes from old PC game for me like Wizardry and Zork. Good thing since they are so easy to get!

  • Hey, cool video. You got some pretty good stuff. That Epyx controller looks pretty interesting but tough to use. Did you try it out yet?

  • Yep. It worked fine except for the autofire part.

  • That's awesome. Tons of weird stuff to find out there!

  • You find such awesome stuff. Ever been to the Gibralter Trade Center? It's a huge flea market. I used to go there as a kid.

  • Oh yes my friend! Do you speak of the one near Detroit? I go every year around the holidays when I visit my in-laws. There's a sweet store there called "Game & Trade". Every year I pray the dude hasn't left. Been there at least three years now.

  • i have goldeneye, super mario 64 x2, super smash, and mario kart too!

  • my smb is on ebay its at 15 buck right now It bought mine for 2 bucks too lol : D

  • the epyx thing is also for atari and amiga and stuff a different one

  • Hey nice pickups there bud! Nice of you to pickup a game because someone else likes it even if you don't, it's about sharing the fun right? Great video as always.

  • Thanks sir.

  • cool finds man those tips at the end will be helpfull good deal $49 for all that cool

  • Nice pickups man! Remember Where in the World is Carmen SanDiego the show?

  • Yep. Good one. The theme song rocked.

  • Damn dude, you got some nice deals.

  • ouch. did your foot swell up from those ants. Nice Star Wars Nes find.

  • Not really. Thankfully I'm not allergic. It just itches a lot.

  • I thought Epyx made the "Summer/Winter Games" series .. ? On the Apple IIe? I could be wrong, it was a long time ago, but .. For some reason, it is ringing a bell.

  • Yeah you're right Epyx was a video game developer, and made games for various vintage computers/systems.

  • I looked into this a little and I think they made "Impossible Mission" which was an awesome game.

  • Mario cart isnt that hard.

  • Maybe so, but I still suck at it.

  • I totally agree with the game specific booth's which sell the games for a lot!

  • he's from where i was born... the guy from ottawa. now that is awesome. although i live in toronto now. still ottawa apparently my cousins tell me is great for finding good deals on old video game stuff so i might head there soon!

  • Yeah...he said there is a lot of stuff around there. I have to admit though, I was wondering why he would come South for the summer and not the winter...maybe he was about to go back.

  • flea markets rule :) thats where i find my favs

  • You got two Super Mario 64 games?

    I am impressed!

I used to have an Atari 2600 VCS.

The buttons on the paddles are normal and the reason they are connected is for 4 player games.

  • I tested the paddles out and they are really shaky. I found a cool website that tells you how to fix them but it looks to be an extensive process. I'll mess around with it more later.

  • nice ! :)

  • I love these flea market videos!

  • What a great find!

Not too long ago I went roaming about a couple of flea markets. Anyway, to cut a long story short, the best deal I got was Ecco: the Tides of Time, for the Genesis for 20 cents! Fully packaged with instruction manual and the game (obviously lol). Saw the same game at one of those gaming booths for $20!

  • Sweet deal on Ecco 2.

  • that dodge ball you should be able to get $6.50 for it..i paid that much for that a couple of months ago on ebay....

  • Thanks for the heads up. I paid $20 on eBay about 8 years ago....maybe I'll hold onto it as a backup.

  • Great finds! Super Dodgeball is awesome!

  • Great finds. Back up games at that price is always worth it

  • You're right. I'm might just keep some of them.

  • Honestly, Smash Brothers has not aged very well, but since you haven't played the newer ones for gamecube and wii, then the experience will be "new" to you so you may enjoy it like we all did back in the day!

  • Awesome finds man.. Ouch! Sorry to hear about that red ants incident.. That sure sucks.. Look forward to that Super Dodgeball review! One of my favs too!

  • Are there red ants in Indonesia? Maybe I'll move there.

  • Erm.. I'm in Malaysia :P And we do have red ants around here.. mostly found on trees.. I almost got bit when I was leaning on one tree while waiting for a bus..

  • Oh yeah...my bad.

  • You'll love SSB, don't sell it. It's actually sort of a rare game for the N64 because it's high in demand. It was kind of funny, I remember going to Walmart wanting to get Mario Kart 64, and they didn't have it, so I saw SSB, and I was like MARIO! I ended up getting it, and I loved it much more than MK64. I love MK64, though, too. The N64 was my first system I ever got, and I still have it in my room. Sorry for this long comment, but..yeah. You'll love SSB. :-)

  • I wasn't crazy about it personally, but your love for SSB has convinced me to keep it!

  • Awesome! Glad my comment helped your decision. You'll love it!
