well, let me get this straight. Pocahontas' father, Powhatan is the chief of their tribe so you can say she is a tribal princess, but not a real princess at all like the others if you know what i mean. and Mulan, she isnt really a princess cause her dad isnt an emperor. and she didnt marry a prince but a general as well as pocahontas. but they are included in the line for their "princess being" *long sigh*

characters like megara and esmeralda aren't considered part of the disney princess line because the movie is technically not about them. its about the man (i.e. hercules and the hunchback) mulan and pocahontas weren't adapted into the line until like 2000 anyways. because they're awesome =D

Yes -- actually, that's what prompted the screams! We are likely taking them to Disneyland in April (4th birthday), so seeing "the real life princesses" is their dream of dreams at the moment...so any "real" versions of Aurora and Cinderella send them into rock star groupie frenzy...
