If in the wild in groups they could takle anything varying up to large cattle. Where they are originated from there would be a small population if not any rabbits.

While i agree the rabbit should be pre-killed it's because his reptile could be injured by the rabbit during feeding. You also fail to realize that some of these reptiles will not eat dead food, sometimes refusing to the point of starvation. Nice monitor.

These lizards eat rodents such as rabbits as a primary food source and considering rabbits breeding cycles they are a cheap healthy food item along with other rodents poultry, fish, crustaceans, and insects. While i agree the rabbit should be pre-killed it's because his reptile could be injured by the rabbit during feeding. You also fail to realize that some of these reptiles will not eat dead food, sometimes refusing to the point of starvation. Nice monitor.

"Outside your house" the rabbit would have a fighting chance, because it can play to its strengths, its speed and smarts. So no, this is nothing like "what animals do out in the open". In the wild animals survive, this is the exact opposite of that.

Animals are also getting run over by cars that humans drive but you aren't complaining about that. It's not like any human truly knows exactly what an animal is thinking, not you, not me, not anyone. This is what this animal does eat small animals for it's own survival, sit around waiting to be feed by a human no. Not all wild animals survive.

@darkwander132 By "fighting chance" I mean fighting chance to survive, by using its strength, running quickly, to evade predation. What's magnificent about lizards, predators, etc is not that they eat other animals, its that they can hunt and catch other animals, and with a rabbit its that it can avoid being caught and eaten. Here we have a case of stripping each animal of its identity and recording it to share with the world. That's about as retarded as it gets.
