  • You should have seen my eyes when I realized this is not the original!! OMG this is amazing! Way better than the one in the movie! SUPER!

  • Thank you for crediting me in the description! my channel is: acidpopsicle. FirielOfArnor is the person who made the video to go with my cover ^^; happy to see such positive reactions with the cover!

  • @acidpopsicle Cool, thank you. I fixed the info. Let me know if you ever need me to take this video down too, because I never expected it to get so popular. I just wanted to show it to my classical music buddies. Feel free to respond with your video too. Thanks for the awesome music :D

  • @MrGoodClass great! And it's all good, you can keep the video (it's gotten more views than my original haha) I'll leave a video response. And you're welcome =D

  • Hey hey! That's my vinvee <3 Her main account is actually called "Acidpopsicle"

I think that's her side account. I want to give you a pat though for crediting her. She really is fantastic, and I'm glad she's getting the proper credit she deserves :D

  • This is so perfect. Whilst already feeling sleepy; played this, and then fell asleep with it playing. I love it the peacefulness of it.

  • This may be the most beautiful thing I have ever heard.

  • some believe they were actually the Angels of Heaven and look to their return at the end of days

  • In fellowship of the ring (extended version), Frodo and Sam witness elves leaving Middle-Earth... In the brief conversation concerning the elves departure, Sam says: "I dont know why, but it makes me sad." First words that came to my mind were: "You are sad because great beauty is departing this world. Even the land mourns this loss and so do all living things in it, aware of the reason or not." :(

  • Namárië Eldar...

  • what ever happened to the elves.. in reality

  • @TheNecro626 in my opinion we humans at the start of this wrld began to domanate burning all the woodland that laid across the land killing all manner of mythical beings nt just elves for religion or greed is one of the reasons and the elves either left this life or were destroyed or maybe are in hiding like many other things in this wrld :)

  • I don't know why but it makes me want to forget about all this taking an arrow to knee malarkrey and just be sad :(

  • We mortals still remember thee, O Elbereth Star-kindler...

  • I live in a small picturesque village situated between the river and small hills, surrounded by forests. Every morning we see a couple of squirrels that come into our yard for food and water, which we leaves to them. Somethimes we cannot leave the house cause we don't want to "upset" a family of hedgehogs while eating their supper :)) , or many different types of birds... I saw many beautiful sunrise and sunset... Earth is a beautiful place to be, love it, be kind to it and it will reward you :)

  • Does anyone know of any music similar to this? I've tried searching for other songs for a loooong time, and I can't find anything quite like this..... preferably without instruments, just the vocals..

  • @999VAMPIRELLA If you were to find music like this it might be from a choral composer of the late romantic/20th century period who favors chanting with modalities. Allthough I have never found anything like it. If I do I will let you know.

  • @999VAMPIRELLA Anonymous 4 , Mediaeval Babes , UGA Noteworthy are a few i can think of at the moment

  • @32788941 Thank you!

  • @999VAMPIRELLA Search for artist Lisa Gerrard, her music is very similar to this!

Two of her songs especially = "sacrifice" & "the host of seraphim". :)

  • @999VAMPIRELLA maybe listen to "Mediaeval Baebes"

  • Strange, isn't it, how a devout Roman Catholic comes up with elves who are very definitely pagan, and we end up liking the pagans more.

  • Tolkien must have known something we didn't.

  • you've got an incorrect translation. as follows: "O Elbereth Star-kindler, from heaven gazing afar, to thee I cry now beneath the shadow of death! O look towards me, Everwhite!" this is an interpolation of frodo's inspired cry under the duress of Shelob on the borders of Mordor. the third verse translates: O stars that in the Sunless Year With shining hand by her were sown In windy fields now bright and clear We see your silver blossom blown! this is an ancient hymn, not a cry for help.
  • This is pure magic. Makes me think about elves, forests, rivers and mountains that never existed.

I am afraid to listen this song because whenever I listen to this, or any other poems or songs related to Elves or Middle Earth I am really being lost in my mind, dreams and I have an unending lust to be in there. Look out of your window and if you are not lucky enough you'll see only cars, concrete buildings, dark and non clear air you breathe. Im not fitting this world. I would give anything ...

  • @cqlr Hmm... I feel the same way about music itself. I would rather compose, but instead I look out my window to see a world that does not value art.... and a world where we spend our free-loving days in the battle of a meaningless coin purse

  • @MrGoodClass we do live in such a world that values a rich and mystical culture of art and music but it is a hidden worl, kept safe and far from the mainstream of media propaganda pharmaceuticals and disposable relationships.Only those who have the vision can see it, the ears to hear it and the pure desire to experience it. Those who cherish it, keep it alive and thriving, those who honor who we all really are.

  • @cqlr i completely feel the same.. i use many time to dive into my worlds, where time does not exist..

  • @oOQwertyOo7 It's good to know that I'm not alone

  • @cqlr definitely.. it breaks my loneliness, knowing that somewhere another one can still dream and imagine

  • @cqlr I AGREE!!!! It somehow get to pull you away from everything and you see the whole world in a totally different view. Purely AMAZING!!

  • The lyrics in Sindarin go as follows: Fanuilos heryn aglar Rîn athar annún-aearath, Calad ammen i reniar Mi 'aladhremmin ennorath! A Elbereth Gilthoniel I chîn a thûl lin míriel Fanuilos le linnathon Ne ndor haer thar i aearon. A elin na gaim eglerib Ned în ben-anor trerennin Si silivrin ne pherth 'waewib Cenim lyth thílyn thuiennin.
