Yeah, I know it's an enharmonic, lol.

I think it's just normally called F# major because it has less sharps than Gb has flats in it's scale.

Play octave fundamentals, ie, when playing a G chord in the right, octave Gs in the left; D chord, octave Ds. Ad lib as well, make it sound grander.
