  • wow dude what kind of distortion was that on the random part

  • excellent! but what if we play a shitty accustic with hard heavy strings :p

  • you do it too fast! stupid, how can people see this as a beginner.... arrghh

  • @dominicjmcmahon begginers don't usual use their pinky and if your looking up exercises for your pinky then your not a begginer

  • @jhammons01 i'm a beginner but i hate it that my pinky finger is just to weak :P

  • Slash is that you?

  • Well, i sorry to say, that i think your playing will suffer some from it later on.

  • What exactly is a pinky? I havn't figgured it out yet xD

  • Ohhh.... It's the littlefinger?

  • yeah

  • pinky is the little finger or finger number 4

  • Yea, i figgured that out about 10 seconds after i posted the comment, wich by the way is 6 months old.

    Thx for reply though. :D

  • pinky is flying off the fingerboard , especially in the first few exercises.

  • He did not strum the guitar string.

  • i have a question... arent you supposed to use the tip of the pinky?? ive read that on technique websites and im working on it myself

  • i want to know the exact same question

  • If a particular technique sounds the way you want, and you can do it without tensing up, then it is 'correct'. Sometimes you have to use the tip of your finger (pinky included) to mute the thicker string above it, or use the meat of your finger to mute the thinner strings below - it's all context specific. To put it simply, electric guitar has no 'supposed to's'. If it sounds right and doesn't hurt, it's right for you. Do whats comfortable for YOU.

  • cool stuff, that drone exercise especially!

  • You know you can get probably 66 notes from 1 string with just basic bends. Half Bend, Full Bend, No Bend.

    That's if you're using a 22 fret guitar.

  • Thats... random

  • Way less. For example bend at 12th fret full and its the same as 14th fret. So I dunno about 26 if you have enough finger strength to bend the string that far. Then again there's harmonics.

  • cool exercises, gonna try them

  • awsome excersices, thanks for the post

  • thank you very much :)

  • great video. very straight forward one of the best I have seen

  • excellent. i give it 5 stars!
