So you changed actors for the second episode. A real shame, I liked the first one, he was a decent actor and having him be gay and a Bajoran really pushed the bar just far enough to be real memorable.
The different actors for the Captain doesn't bother me so much. But I just can't buy that openine scene.
It stands to reason there would be tension between T'Lora and the rest of the crew. But even an inexperienced Starfleet Captain wouldn't let his security chief get away with mouthing off like that.
Of course, I'm guessing his inexperience is going to play out a bit in the following episodes, if any more get produced.
Personally I pised that Enterprise never got their movie deal. But ST is bigger than the money and this is shaping up. Rick Berman was exhausted by all his work all very good work too. He keep the dream alive. But now there is a void and this is a very good effort.
you can tell the romulan has experience with away teams, she gets the non-main cast member to touch the unknown device after pointing out how dangerous dead planets are lol :D
The acting is improving and I like the new Ro. But what I'm thinking about the Marjan/Caecus relationship is making me a little ill. I hope it doesn't turn out to be what I'm thinking.
I like the new captain Ro. Acting is more natural, Acting overall is better than the first episode. The Romulan lady has improved too - a bit forced and scripted at times, but better. The General is good too. The doctor is consistently good. Majan needs more work - much too scripted and inflections contrived. Good effort though. Very good story.
Are we watching the same cut? I though the new Ro did a wonderful job. A great actor indeed. He would most certainly welcome him aboard the Star Trek: Gatekeeper at any time. A Norwegian production with actors from Star Trek AND Star Wars as well as other celebs. James Cawley and Bobby Rice is allready aboard.
Noooo!!!! Where is the original Ro?? Very sad. I liked the other one. he was a good actor....and so cute too!!! Although.....this guy is cute too....but he doesn't have the charm of the other Ro.
The first episode was better. Here the romulan and the betazoid argue too seriously and the captain doesn't object. It is naive, little minded and against Roddenberry
Remember tho, he hasnt been trained as a command member, hes only there as the captain and first officer both died, hes not fully qualified for command descions and inexperienced.
Oh my... This ist the THIRD (!) Actor whose playing Ro. Why giving him his own series, if nobody is able to play the charakter? This really makes me angry. ;-(

how many episodes/season are there of the show? its great. the acting is a little meh but its hell of a lot better than Enterprise ever was.
