  • Why do I picture Lt. Dan whenever I hear this song?

  • For the four dislikes,You must not have read the signs.

  • 0:23

  • @ShootYourFoot and slugs to!

  • @ShootYourFoot Sorry, not a socailist!

  • FIRST song that ever made me use my critical thinking skills -- wayyyy back in the day... from a 53 year old white woman born n raised in Calif. and am now stuck in a small "city" smack dab in the middle of HEL! -- Jackson, TN, married to a Black MAN who got screwed, BLUED and tattooed.

  • Great song from yesteryear. Tesla did an awesome cover too.

  • Great song from yesteryeat. Tesla did an awesome cover too.

  • great tune

  • Enjoyed this one many times at the beach while on our 5th grade safety patrol patrol year-end party. I remember that I was wearing crushed dark purple velvet shorts with small black tassels. WHAT a decade ! We were too young to understand all the social implications; things were moving so fast that our little heads were spinning, and my conservative parents tried to shield us from much of it.

  • One hit wonder or not: this is the PERFECT song to counter modern life. I'm surprised there aren't signs on toilet paper.

  • great job! :)

  • I have always loved this song, the pics are perfect! xxx

  • asshole signs everywhere

  • Una super rareza. Signos.

  • Actually, they were far from a one hit act, Les Emmerson had a bunch of chart successes, starting with the Staccatos, Five Man electrical band, and then some really good solo stuff. This tune was a big influence on a 6th grader in Alberta. Cheers

  • They opened for Traffic at the Aragon Ballroom in about 1971, and they got booed off the stage, I always liked the song....comeon now...Traffic was definately the Main Event....Ya gotta have shirt and tie to get a seat...you aint supposed to be here.. uhhhh...well, we were way beyong that in 1971....

  • for a 1 hit wonder, this was quite an outstanding song.

  • they have some outher sick songs

  • @freddycupples

making music isnt about isnt about making the charts

  • @freddycupples not a ONE HIT WONDER. they have other songs!

  • @TurkeySub8 Yes... it is a one hit wonder... all their other songs aren't hits...

  • @1337Ninja3000 yet they play them all the time on the radio?

  • @TurkeySub8 I listen to classic hits every day on the radio. Classic HITS. THIS is their only HIT.

  • @1337Ninja3000 Not true. They had another American Top 40 hit "Absolutely Right" that almost went Top 25 (#26 to be exact) in 1971. Rarely gets played anywhere unless you listen to Music Choice's classic rock channel. I'm sure they had huger success in their native Canada.

  • @freddycupples That's why they call it 1-hit wonder, Einstein.

  • @7beers You make anyone look like Einstein compared to you with that illogical remark. You imply that a 1 hit wonder must be a great song; which is certainly not the case.

  • My fave pic is at 3:40

  • i love the song and i love the way u matched the song with sign's =]

  • lol
