This is nice video. With most VAWT wind-electric turbines the wind severly causes drag on once side of the turbine, but with water, it's almost no drag, especially from the water. A simple larger gear connected to the axis of your turbine can spin a smaller gear or axis of the electric generator much faster to produce more volts. So you use the advantage of torque energy to then create speed.
