I've been to prison in Oregon and have uncles and friends in prisons in California and Washington, i have been to county jails in Illinois, california, Washington and i have never seen a cigarette (hand made or tailor) that went for more than ten bucks........usually a talor made will be about four bucks and a hand rolled will be about a buck.

Personally I think Pot would be the best solution for inmates!. No more fights and all the race bullshit woudl go away cause all the prisoners wuld be too stoned to give a fuck. The co's then have less problems and they wouldn't need as many in prisons. Tax payers money saved. marajuana really is the solution!

I know a couple of people that didn't even have a drug problem until they got inside a prison. The stress and degradation that surrounds you 24/7 would make anyone want to temporarily "escape". There's always someone out to make a buck off of someone else's weakness.  Don't judge the "users" too harshly unless you been there...

beleive it or not it has been done. Some inmates with a doctors note can wear there Tennis shoes into visiting vs the boots. The tennies look like chucks but there fake I know a guy who traded with his brother in the visiting room. The tennis shoes out there get worn and nasty quick since there cheap and its HOT! The chucks will last him through the year. just some CDCR info! haha
