i got a 98 cobra. i have shorty headers going stright to the x pipe and then stright out the back. i love the sound. it was cheap. only thing that was expensive was the eliminator kit. i paid 400 bucks for it. it just tells the computer my cats are there and the o2s are fine. so no check engine light :)

I have no major add ons to my 1996 gt, such as cold air intake, flowmasters and probably gears, but I'm not sure, cuz when I bought it the seller told me it was modified, and I can feel it since this cars were kinda weak stock, but mine feels fast and torquey. What mods do you have?
does anyone know what exactly the high pitched whine is ? mine does it too and seems to have something to do with the brakes but idk if i need to replace something or what ?

well.. the camera doesn't do justice. you are right though it isnt crazy loud but it does sound good. this june i am going to put on some headers and an x pipe.. hopefully that will make it a little louder.
