I like this song. I went to college with Derek, and I remember him as being talented in addition to just being a nice guy. He deserves to be heard in my opinion.
I've seen this guy Derek perform around San Francisco, and he's ultra-sleek-sexy-soulful. His a capella is gorgeous. His own compositions are mercurial; they all sound different from the last. And I've heard him do Neil Young's "Harvest Moon" and the Beatles' "Blackbird" in his own style and they sent shivers down my spine. This guy is terrific and he's not yet a nationally known act. I wish him well. What a sweet guy.
