congrats to the graduate (and of course congrats again on the upcoming addition)! Your twist out was fab and the your flat ironed hair looks like black silk!.
I used to use proactiv for years but stopped a while ago. now i use arbonne products (super pricey, i buy off ebay) and honestly i sneak proactiv in if i feel a blemish coming on.
Glam, try the curl formers instead of blowdrying has the same effect (a little better) without the heat. Use them without setting lotion..dries overnight or within a few hours if in a warmer climate.
Sorry, life came up and i never got back to you trying to upload pic of the curl formers now .. I don't use them with setting lotion as the box says (tried with setting loation and was left with flakes). There is a large hook that comes with the kit and you slide a section of hair through each tube ..ends must be combed. The tube will cover the entire lengthe of the hair. I will try to send a pic but just in case this fails (or i get frustrated with the process)
Great question! I recommend deep conditioning for everyone with tightly curled hair. The curlier, the more you need it (since the oils don't move down the strand & we tend to make less oil as it is). I do it every 3-5 weeks and it has changed the sheen and suppleness of my hair for the best. I also retain length (as you can see) like no other, my hair grow and keeps from breaking. Thanks for asking.

What are your thoughts on deep conditioning. Do you feel it is necessary for everyone? If so how often? How has it effected your hair? Thanks.
