  • "Why can't something just once, work out right for me?" I hear you there.

  • I always wondered what this show was, I mean I've seen it parodied so much, but I never knew what it really was, been dying to see it

  • Does anyone else think the leading man looks similar to Vladimir Putin or Silvio Berlusconi??? It's a sign!!!!

  • i love his filmssss

    and i love horrror :p

  • I just hate how they always cut out the sponsors ads.

  • Anyone remember Darren McGavin in ' The Night Stalker ?'

  • @Longhammer37214 Absolutely!!!

  • @Longhammer37214 Absolutely!!! He was an underrated, but brilliant actor. I miss him, too.

  • GET A JOJ

  • aahhh i hate him he's so creepy and horrid to the poor old woman :(

  • As much as i think he's a genius, Hitchcock was a weird weird man :')

  • that blond thru me for awhile...Thats Carolyn Jones...The Addams Family Mum...took me a bit!

  • If we were Martha we would request that Lyle perform his duties in the nude!

  • Lyle is cute and we suspect Lyle could have sizemeat (= over 8 inches long on the tape measure)!

  • I saw this the first time round in 1955! I was three!

  • Boy did she get HIM back! YES!!!

  • The blond actress looks like Bette Davis! Am I the only one who thinks so?

  • @HOE68YEN thats morticia addams from the addams family

  • @HOE68YEN Nope, I agree! Bette all the way! Wow!

  • Just as well people didn't go to the bathroom in those days.

  • Thank you drelbcom!

  • I WANT TO SEE THE FUCKING SPONSOR MESSAGE

  • w00t! more please!

  • was this era really good? Aren't we lucky to have shows like Jersey Shore instead?

  • @et2petty I'm sorry, but you're an idiot. I'm 25, and I can still appreciate good tv. Alfred Hitchcock was a genius, and anyone who thinks otherwise needs to have their head examined. Once again, sorry, but I only speak the truth.

  • @heatherspears85 i see what you see(truth), period.

  • 0:00

  • Poor old lady :-( I hate people taking advantage of weak and old people

  • I'd have liked to see the commercials as well :D

  • Funniest things are the intros and ending dialogues Hitch adds to each show... the guy REALLY was a seriously funny and witty guy... LOL.. and especially the way he would put down and be sarcastic about the "sponsors" in each show... bet he pissed them off even though they wanted to continue to sponsor each show... LOL ... the guy actually had an amazing sense of humour for a suspense-murder mystery writer.

  • She's just the right height for a bj

  • @UTAOUB

I checked. That indeed was Darren McGavin.

  • 45000$ enough to retire on, go to europe and buy fancy cars :)

  • To: jminto88 > Hitch did not write ALL THESE stories! They're based on

stories that hired writers adapted for tv. Capiche??

  • Lyle= dispicable jerk. Way to go, Martha. Smart move.

  • Heavens to Roger Thornhill! I always loved this show....I never thought the hour version (The Alfred Hitchcock Hour) was as good. Just as the hour long "Twilight Zones" weren't as good as the half hour versions. Gotta love those twist endings! THANKS for posting this! You've MADE my day! :)

  • awesome

  • Hi

I remember of an episode: a rich woman goes to jail for having driven too fast. She bribes an old black man who is working. The plan is : she will hide in a coffin waiting until this man come to deliver her.

But after a moment in a coffin, she realizes that this old man she was waiting for was dead (and laid in the coffin with her)

Can someone tell me the title of this episode?

    Thanks

  • @Chevalier765 It sounds similar to "Final Escape" which can currently be found on Hulu under Hitchcock Hour Season 2 episode 14. But its a young prisoner who gets trapped with an old white man. Different but similar ending.

  • Alfred Hitchcock such an amazing man.

  • classic..........

  • Only one episode? That sucks!

  • I want to watch more! but too bad there's no other episodes on youtube.

There are some on hulu, but i can't watch them because apparently, only americans are allowed to watch videos on hulu. Here in Canada, it's banned.

  • it problably something to do with legality in licensing in Canadian laws, Local broadcasting in Canada must be certain percentage of Local/national media. Liberal ideology in my opinion, free market creates a better product.

  • Um, that's not it at all.

Hulu is a joint effort by American broadcasters, and you can't watch it internationally. It's that way for a lot of "watch full episode online!" type websites.

  • Some son of a bitch just gave you a thumbs down....dont worry, i put a thumbs up on ur comment =]

  • it simply traces your ip to canada. you can get a software for free that changes your ip. google it. i have a mac and i use ghost. make sure to select USA from the proxy server list. good luck. information should be free.

  • i hate those restrictions..apparently the internet is free, isn't??

  • That's because nothing ever bad happens in Canada, it may give you all a complex.

  • they did a remake on these on the eighties, anybody remember them?

  • i think there are some around on youtube.

  • I've loved these Alfred Hitchcock episodes for such a long time.....He was brilliant!!!....Love it!!!

  • i loved this story!!!!

  • Thanks sooo much for posting, Alfred Hitchcock is one of my favorite directrors :)

  • I enjoyed this very much. I never saw one of these Hitchcock presents epis and decided now was the time. That man did get what he deserved. : )

  • oh my.... your first time, one of my first memories is laying on the floor with a bottle by my mother and she was watching Alfred Hitchcock, twilight zone, and DARK SHADOWS.....

  • She was watching those shows at the same time?

  • oops 3 t.v.s going at once..damn hippy....and what was that IN my bottle????

  • i remember the outline.... i was.... doing about the same. on the floor with a blottle.

  • Watch more Alfred on ALL TIME TV CLASSICS com

  • thanks, those were the good ol days of tv.thanks again.please show more of these.

  • this was pretty good. go granny!!

  • Alfred Hitchcock is the greatest!

  • Thanks for this releasing !! I have never seen this episode. I wish you were going to show all the episode of "Alfred Hitchcock Presents". Won't you ?

  • Darren McGavin cast as Lyle Endicott is so atypical of his usual rolls. Kind of a coincidence that it was originally broadcast on Christmas Day 1955 during the first season of Alfred Hitchcock Presents.

  • Darren McGavin is so familiar as the father on "Christmas Story" that I expect him to pull out his major award leg lamp from the box. I also thought he'd ask Carolyn Jones to speak French when he was holding her. Cara Mia. Maybe MST3K could do a reunion and make some comments. The director is leaving for the coast...Whiter Shade of Pale, lots of possibilities. Do any of you get this? Later the old lady calls for Bella. Watch out; don't speak French. She loves her vase like a major award.

  • Thanks so much for the post. This is one of my favorite Alfred Hitchcock shorts THANKS!!

  • maybe you can tell me CBS ! Why only one epasode! Like you don't have the money!

  • This video wasn't posted by CBS

  • This is a public domain episode that they, or anyone else has the rights to it!

  • I thought that alfred hitchcock presents is on DVD wouldnt that make it copyrighted?

  • Not neccessarily. I've seen the original "Little Shop of Horrors" on DVD, and that's public domain. But yea, the rest of these episodes should be available, too.

  • When will there be more?

  • Alfred Hitchcock was sooo amazing.

    love his work.

  • I can see whz! BuMz dad loves him and I can see whz! But I think Psycho was actually funnyy

  • i love these!!

  • Hey thea

  • 0:11 - Mr. Hitchcock has bad posture...

  • hitchcock is the master.ive been a huge fan since i was little.
