@Akkeree if im not mistaken Slash left because axl wanted all the rights to GN'R and because of the disrespect axl showed to his fans and because izzy and steven were no longer part of GNR. he left in 1996. Matt was then fired because in a arguement with Axl Matt stood up for slash and was kicked out in 1997. and duff left of his own accord because his wife became pregnant and decided it was time to settle down in 1997. so it wasnt all because of the signing of the rights since.

everyone in the band was a mess. slash was a heroin junky and a alcoholic and duff was in such bad shape over drugs and alcohol he couldnt talk half the time and even blacked out on stage. And slash actually died because of a overdose, he only survived because of medical personal. axl was the only one in shape who didnt get addicted to drugs. my theory is that he made them sign over the rights cause else there wouldnt be any guns n roses left.

Yeah, and a lot of the stuff wasn't even legitimate lyrics.

First off, he didn't write Paradise City. Most of that was Slash during a drive to a concert, he said the chorus and added to that.

Second, lyrics like "Where do we go now" from sweet child o' mine weren't actual lyrics, it was literally him going "What's the next line?"

And third, Axl's music has still gone down hill where musicians have had to hold him up, and he kicks them out everytime (namely, buckethead and the rest).

You need to fix your hearing. This starts out with a constant hit on one note whereas "It's So Easy" is a mix of two notes, the intro is also done via guitar as opposed to Dirty Little Thing's Bass.

Sweet Child O' Mine and Fall to Pieces have COMPLETELY different intros.

And you can't honestly be saying VR is building off of GnR Dirty Little thing and It's so Easy use indistinct intros, are you?
