Before the changes, Nickelodeon used to glorify slime, fun, immaturity, informative topics, imagination, and activity. Now, they don't stand for anything and glorify the powerful dollar.

Remember when commercials and cartoon movies were in 2D? Now cereal commercials for Trix, Fruity Pebbles, and such are in hideous 3D! They were much better in 2D. 95% of animated movies are in 3D now. Why can't 2D and 3D movies coexist?! I admire technology, but come the fuck on....

Kids got outside and played. Neighbors looked out for you like a close relative. Music and TV portrayed positive messages and was enjoyable for the family. Entertainment and Sports was at its peak. Now we live in a ultra sensitive country full of spoiled brats. Sigh whatever happened to the good times????

It's funny how we become just like our parent thinking the tv shows we have know are nothing compared to the classics. And the younger kids who like these new shows the same thing will happen to them. Kenan and Kel was one of my favorite Nickelodeon shows when i was young. Well I guess know i don't know it's is rare to find shows know that were at least able to compete with the classics but the shows don't always last long. I do not remember every classic but I do remember quite a few.

Nickelodeon doesn't exist anymore. There's a channel called Nick, but it's nothing like the channel I knew. That simple two digit number that's burned into your skull, before we had 8000 channels......really, I blame the crappy ass shows they call TV now. Maybe if these younger generations got to experience the cartoons we did, they wouldn't be growing up so fast. Eight year olds don't need iPhones, or to know what sex is. They need to see Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network. Not Nick and CN.

I was born in 1994. I grew up watching Hey Arnold, Catdog, Rugrats, Double Dare, Doug, All that, Ka Blam!,Rocket power and Angry Beavers. The good shows that was on Nick in the 2000's was Jimmy neutron, Farily odd parents, spongebob (until recently) Drake and Josh, and im not gonna lie Avatar the last Airbender was my show as kid. Personally for me Nickoloden died in 2009.

This is American history right here... this was the new generation of kids that watched this. This is what we always went to after school and watched enjoyed watching, even in the morning. I will never regret living through those times and was an AWESOME time and feeling. i think here in mexico we have the worst part. Almost every cartoon has dissapeared from Nickelodeon, there's just cartoons from 9 to 1pm and they re almost episodes of Bob Squarepants and FanBoy & Chumchum... Then, the american shows like Drake & josh, icarly, victorious, zoey 101... THEN, southamerican productions like "Grachi"... So at night, like 9pm, we start getting some cartoons, like danny phantom or Fairly odd parents... kinda ironic isnt?.

Nickelodeon doesn't exist anymore. There's a channel called Nick, but it's nothing like the channel I knew. That simple two digit number that's burned into your skull, before we had 8000 channels......really, I blame the crappy ass shows they call TV now. Maybe if these younger generations got to experience the cartoons we did, they wouldn't be growing up so fast. Eight year olds don't need iPhones, or to know what sex is. They need to see Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network. Not Nick and CN.

Even the Disney ones, like Lizzie McGuire, Kim Possible, that one with Christy Carlson Romano...the shows nowadays aren't funny in the slightest of ways and are basically stepping stones for autotuned singers.

I was born in 1994. I grew up watching Hey Arnold, Catdog, Rugrats, Double Dare, Doug, All that, Ka Blam!,Rocket power and Angry Beavers. The good shows that was on Nick in the 2000's was Jimmy neutron, Farily odd parents, spongebob (until recently) Drake and Josh, and im not gonna lie Avatar the last Airbender was my show as kid. Personally for me Nickoloden died in 2009.

This is American history right here... this was the new generation of kids that watched this. This is what we always went to after school and watched enjoyed watching, even in the morning. I will never regret living through those times and was an AWESOME time and feeling. i think here in mexico we have the worst part. Almost every cartoon has dissapeared from Nickelodeon, there's just cartoons from 9 to 1pm and they re almost episodes of Bob Squarepants and FanBoy & Chumchum... Then, the american shows like Drake & josh, icarly, victorious, zoey 101... THEN, southamerican productions like "Grachi"... So at night, like 9pm, we start getting some cartoons, like danny phantom or Fairly odd parents... kinda ironic isnt?.

but here's the thing that sorta bothers me: the young adults hating on today's Nick so much. why are some still even watching or looking at Nickelodeon yeah I agree it does suck but why even watch it and care it's a KIDS channel, we shouldnt even watch at all now we're all too old for it anyway...
