seems like the middle knob is adding gain. it's probably based on an old octavia or something.. i'm trying to hunt down a clean octave up too. nothing seems good or cheap enough :(

Is it a fuzz also or do you have another pedal engaged with it? I'm looking for a clean octave up pedal.

Good question. I am also looking for the same thing. I'd like to be able to add my own crunch to clean octaved up sound.
