your ability with a blade.. it is .. there are no words for it. and again at 1:50.. your inner senses are very well developed. I wish I could sense like that and trust on what I am sensing and then react apropiately. you actually evaded an attack from behind.!! I gotta learn the principles and exercises of systema. it is not so much about learning to fight as it is about being able to tap into higher human ability.

Nothing inspires the warrior inside me like Systema. I threw Krav Maga and JuJitsu out the window when I started Systema... Everything I learnt just did not work on Systema practitioners; it was like they were fighting with different rules and I was just trying to catch up.

Fark me. If you know of Maxim Franz, you know Vlad's dealing with serious pros here. And he makes it look easy! The guy's an artist. Hope to train with him one day (and to think I lived in Toronto for a year before getting into Systema... God damn!)

Most Spetsnas can take small squads of infantry with ease, capable of disarming knives, handguns, rifles you name it, and then kill you with a shoelace. LOL

I'm impressed. Elsewhere on youtube, we were just talking about the effectiveness of Systema against someone with a bit more intent that is usually displayed attacking, this video more or less seals that question.
