This video is great, however an issue I keep having is that my chart is only displaying every other line of data. In other words, it'll display rows 2,4,6 but not 3,5,7. Any suggestions?
Ctrl 1! Great! Thanks for the shortcut! I've been working a lot with graphs lately and this will save me a bunch of time--at least a bit more piece of mind!
@ExcelIsFun What do you mean by range? I'm sorry but I'm very slow at this. What I have is a master file in a separate worksheet and another table in another. For example, the table uses countif to count all the female and male gender in those records. If I add a record in the master file which has a male gender, the male count in the table will automatically increment. Is there a way to do this? Cause I want to record that task in a macro.
Sorry that I did not make my question clear! I would like a continuous countdown to a specific event showing days, hours, minutes and seconds (i.e to a birthday, Christmas, Independance day ect). I have tried but others have failed. I have found your videos extremely helpful in the past and thought you may be able to help?

@sdmayer123 maybe:
1) expand chart width
or
2) right-click axis, Format, change font size
or
3) if date, change date format in cells to a shorter number format
or
??

Hi! I was wondering, are functions, specifically countif also dynamic? If i add another record in my table, it also counts it? thanks :)

Yes, if you use a table and then use a range from the table in a COUNTIF function, the range will be dynamic.

I do not know how to do Macros. Try THE best Excel question site:

If you explain how your data is setup and what you are trying to do they will help.

Just wondering what's the difference using Ctrl T or using Ctrl Shift L?
In Ctrl Shift L we can toggle the filters. In case of Ctrl T, rows get some coloring.
Why do we have two different methods for creating filters, then? (By the way I love your excel tutorial series. They are amazing.)
jamesscottemail 2 years ago
Ctrl + Shirt + L shows Filter buttons only.
Ctrl + T creates a table that has filter, sort, dynamic ranges, table nomenclature for formulas and much more.

Not a comment on this video, but I have always found that they do exactly as you explain. Is it possible to countdown seconds, days ect in excel?
