20,000 kids could have gone through top colleges at 100000 each. Whoever makes these Governmental contractual agreements is not only a dumb shit but a waste of his father’s sperm. This technology hasn’t even helped us defeat goat farmers in caves with rusty Old Russian weapons. While we can’t even replace a farmers cow to win hearts and minds of the Afghanistan people. And our troops get placed in harm’s way and can’t even get water and ammo. We have some stupid people in charge of our country.
There is more to this crash than just the faulty frozen sensor and the 30+ degree pitch up. As JetMechMA posted on page 102, and cellblock131 posted on page 63, right as the nose pitch-up happens, an engine or mechanical blowout occurs at 1:31, sparks+debris+smoke comes off the back of the plane several times, and from this moment on it has no power. The pitch-up by itself is not enough to cause an unrecoverable stall even at this altitude. No power made it unrecoverable. Pilot was remarkable.
data pressure system gripe my fucking ass...that asshole rotated at to high of and angle and the wing tips struck the fucking runway resulting in a major fuck up
that pilot what a dumbass why didn't he just land the thing....oh well I am sure he was discharged and probably never flew again after this at least for a company.
@isactucker Simple, because the Air Force investigation determined that the onboard computers had allready excuted their part of the flightcontrol program and had assumed the major command and control of the aircraft. THAT is what happens when you rely on far to many computers that rely on way too many sensors and electrical devices to handle the aircraft. It was well into a stall and far to close to the ground and drifting to portside into the grass. It was unrecoverable.
@777NVN Yep, and i get a kick out of folks that look at it simply that way. It's the very same mind set that if in a future event the country in which you live ( and I have to assume it is the United States ) were to be seriously attacked, you would be screaming for those who operate, maintain and use that equipment to defend you. However, if it is not there...then you'd be one of the first to be screaming about that.
Looks like he over-rotated to me, and tried to correct causing oscillations that could not be corrected causing loss of control.....but I am no expert......
An actual STARGATE/PORTAL-THING was caught on film in New Mexico. The footage can be found within the short-film entitled "SUDDEN PORTHOLE", which is parked at the PROJECT CAMELOT YouTube page (it's under the George Noory video).

It doesn't cost 2.1 billion. That figure you hear thrown around is the amortized price, which is aircraft price + (R&D money divided by the number of aircraft produced). They didn't lose the R&D when this thing crashed, they only lost the aircraft.
I'm just amazed to see the ejection seats working like they should, i mean a b2 does not have a canopy like a fighter. I had heard about this accident, this is the first time i actually see it.
@SuperContez lets see your dumbass to get the privilege and knowledge to be able to fly an aircraft like this, I wouldn't want to spend $2.1B to even let your ass touch the controls of an aircraft
watch?v=ioVRN8Zbxq0&feature=related please watch, wake up. The video details the New World Order dangerous agenda. Time's running out. The federal reserve is planning on inflating our currency then collapsing it, then replacing N. and S. American currency with the Amero. Ron Paul 2012 infowars.co m
I have heard these planes cost 2 billion dollars a unit ... I don't know about this incident, but I hope for the pilot's sake, they had a malfunction ... otherwise, the soldier will be raped in prison for the rest of his life .... they will rape him and make him shit 2 billion dollars out ... in pennies
Those alien seats & cockpits aren't made for humans. C'mon man I'd like to see how you drive it bent over at 90 deg. facing the wrong way & a joystick pressing in your buttocks.
I'd say the most eerie part about this video is watching the flaps showing how desperately the pilot was trying to either abort or push through the take off.
Those guys literally hung on until the last possible second. Incredible.
If you're not crashing planes, you're not flying planes. It's not like they can just "pull over, get out and pop the hood". Can anyone explain the events we see in the footage? I saw the plane nose up sharply on lift off but quickly level out. No stall condition was visible even though the attitude was a bit high for a moment. The causal event appears to have begun after the plane achieved level flight. The plane appeared to be moving at a sufficient airspeed to maintain lift. What happened?
@heath32600 No, the B-2 stealth bomber can fly in all weather conditions that a normal plane can fly in. The data pressure sensor malfunction in this plane had been written down, it was just ignored that day.
@heath32600 It really wasn't traveling at a sufficient airspeed to maintain lift. Heavy rain caused serious malfunctions in the plane's atmospheric sensors which then fed erroneous data to the flight computer, causing the unrecoverable pitch up and stall.
@heath32600 I'm actually not wholly familiar with the specifics of why the rain infiltrated the flight control systems in this particular incident.
I do know, however, that the B-2's are kept in incredibly expensive, climate-controlled hangars because of the sensitivity of their radar-absorbent skin. I'm not sure why these particular B-2's were caught out in the open in what the military called "Heavy, lashing rain."

@vvhoopie
Such an enormously expensive fuck-up.
What was the cause of this? Was it just pilot error or was there something wrong with the plane itself?
briantotse3 1 month ago
@vvhoopie 2.100.000.000?? I remember reading once that the B-2 was more expensive than it´s own weight in gold, but THAT even surprises me.
Thanks for sharing!
KrautGoesWild 1 month ago
@vvhoopie Actually, cost per each B-2 Spirit airframe was an average of 1.2 billion over the lifetime of the program during the assembly and procurment phase.
