Hey, fantastic timing for me...I just bought a used Tech 21 VT Bass pedal off someone on TalkBass AND I was looking at buying this as a backup bass this summer. Thanks for showing me what's to come! lol. For a $300 bass this sounds really good.
@Tooltrocity. Cool coincidence man. I'm also running this through a Tech21 Programmable Bass DI pedal, and from that into a Behringer Xenyx 802 mixer, so this isn't pure bass alone, but it is a suprisingly good bass for the money.
@korgrandi Nope, everything on this is stock. The pups are "Duncan Designed" (not made by SD, but licenced, or whatever), but they just have a good, strong, clear sound. The Tech21 pedal is responsible for most or the real juice here, but it sounds good with out the pedal.
even has the factory fender strings. Those will be changed before too long, but sound great for right now.

4 bolt. Good and strong. I just love how the body is all black (well, BWB 3ply pickguard), and the neck is all lighter...maple and white like you mentioned. Not a common mix. Heaver than the Spector too, but not too much
Love the new bass! The black and maple combo is mondo classy, and those MOP blocks really put it over the top!

Maple neck with "white" blocks - just like one Geddy played last tour. Great sound at a reasonable price. Is the neck 3 or 4 bolt?
