Heat milk in a pan or put milk in cup, place in micro wave. Heat to 150F (use insta thermometer after removing from mwave or stove). Take a $10 frothing wand and beat the hell out of the hot milk and you'll get much better, safer froth. That method you're using is an accident waiting to happen. But, I must admit, it's okay experimenting with other ways to do things...as long as no one gets hurt it's all good.... Thanks for the laugh!
