Thanks for watching. You actually CAN subscribe to a twitter account via RSS. Just login to your twitter account and click "home" at the top of the page. Then on the right-hand side (if you scroll down) you'll see a link to an RSS Feed. You can also subscribe to all the tweets from a specific user, but that might not be efficient if you follow lots of people.
Facebook doesn't provide an easy way to get updates via RSS. There are some hacks that supposedly work, but they're not user friendly.
I do have a question though- what kind of updates are the best to receive from RSS? I know that you want to have blog updates, etc., but what about twitter, facebook and youtube?? Is that something that you would normally put on RSS lists?Or is that best to go to those individual sites? It gets confusing:)
Wow you must have been reading my mind, lol. Today I have been trying to do research on what exactly RSS feeds mean exactly, because I am sick of getting multiple emails from sites I visit, and was confused. Thank you very much for this helpful tutorial. :)
