There should be further anime in the future, imo...There's a lot more story in the books/manga to be seen yet. I think it's...likely enough. Haven't read all of it myself, just some summaries, but apparently things get a lot worse than even in TSR...events that I don't think have been fully concluded in that medium which imo, should probably be concluded in original canon format before a further anime. Anyway, until then, I'm sure FMP is going to be stuck  fairly firmly in the back of my head...

SPOILER ALERT ZOMG - In the novels, he realizes he loves her in Odoru Very Merry Christmas (its the book after Ending Day by Day, which is equivilent to FMP TSR,), and they say that they love each other in the next installment after that, my favorite novel of the series, Continuing on my Own.
