  • how do i check how much hours my bulb has lft?

  • @mrschelei I'm not sure you can check, there is no option on the menu for it. Sorry.

  • how could i hook it up to my surround sound reciever?

  • @phillyflyers31 i could be wrong but i dont think it has a audio output, so you would have to hook up the surround sound from your dvd player

  • Can you decrease the size of the projection for better resolution and can you watch TV by plugging a cable TV to it? I dont have a TV.

  • Hi can you pl tell me if it is good for daily computer use. Like audio editing at resolution of 1280 x 1024

  • How did you get your pictures to look like that? What kinda settings have you put the four options as? Mine's no where near as clear, especially in the dark scenes!

  • very good picute you convinced me to get it

  • how many inches is this compera to a plasma tv? will be bigger or less?

  • This picture is about 80 inches , so about 2 or 3 times bigger than a standard tv screen. Thanks.

  • @duffie09 Thinking of getting one... but does this projector last long.... I heard it uses bulb ... is it hard to find replacement and is the bulb expensive

  • @kbundy023 The bulb should last a few thousand hours, and its very easy to replace the bulb as it uses a standard 35w halogen bulb which are very cheap. I've had mine a couple of years, dont use it very often but still using the original bulb. Thanks.

  • i cant tell how big it is canu turn the lights on???

  • Thanks a bunch for the response---happy Holidays to you and yours....

  • NIce review. How did you hook this up to your computer. What cable hook up did you use and what kind of cable.

  • I didnt connect it to my computer , just a portable dvd player. But if you were to try to connect to a computer you would need an S-video to RCA adapter, or so ive been told. Thanks

  • For $92 on Amazon, I would say that this is not a bad deal at all. Except, I paid over $200 for mine a few years ago and well, its only a 320x800 res (I believe), so don't expect to plug your laptop or BluRay player into this. Don't expect to play your Call of Duty on mind-blowing angles. No, it's just for that person who likes to kick back, relax, and watch a movie without paying $500 for a projector that they would not be using half of the time.

  • How far away is this from the wall.

I am trying to put it on top of my bed which is about 12 feet from the wall.

  • The projector was about 2.5 metres ( 6.5 feet) from the wall.

    Thanks.

  • do you, as the owner, believe that this is a pretty decent projector?

  • For the money I would say its not bad, but the resolution is very low and can be hard to watch at times. Thanks

  • Can you please post a short video of a football game.

  • At 1:11 I was like dang what a quality increase, then i realized it was your dvd player's screen, lol

  • Where can I get a AV signal booster? I looked on amazon and radioshack and I couldnt find em. How much do they cost?

  • Mine came in the pack with the projector when I bought it. Maybe try looking on eBay etc... Thanks.

  • i have this projector i was wondering the picture on mine is rubbish how did u get that sort of better picture?

  • I used a AV signal booster which I got with the projector which improved the image quality. Thanks

  • from what i've been reading, you can get rid of the screen door effect by replacing the textured bulb with a smooth one (also higher wattage for brighter display) for like 11 dollars... have you tried this? also have to tried to connect it to a laptop or desktop computer? what kind of cords do you need?

    thank you!

  • Thanks for the tip about the bulb I will be sure to try that out sometime. But I havent attempted to connect it to a computer and im not sure what cords you would need or even if it would be worth it because of such a low screen resolution. Thanks

  • i looked around and found out that i need an "S-video to RCA adapter" for the computer. what cords come with the torpedo? i cant find anywhere online where it says what all it comes with! ohh, and how long are those cords? because idk if i'll just need a little adapter, or if i'll want a longer cord to reach further or something... and i think that if i replace the bulb with a smooth one that should cut down on the screen door effect and i can just make the text very large on the computer

  • The projector comes with a standard Av to Av cable which is about a metre long I think and also comes with a Vertical Projection Stand. Thanks

  • depends on how far away you are from the picture and also the picture size.

    Up close its pretty noticeable.

    Thanks.

  • how bad was the screendoor effect?
