you can hold shift when you're fine tuning values like numbers and stuff, so when you drag it gives you smaller changes/increments so that you can really fine tune what you want interactively with out having to manually punch in numbers.

2-go to file

3-save default settings

i guess, he has another, older, version.

My version is the 2.46 version and he uses the 2.45 version. Obviously there are some differences between these versions. In my version there are three buttons: "Object Button", "Physics Button" and an extra "Particles Button". But in this video there are only two. The "Particles Button" is included in the "Physics Button".I dont get that much particles as he does. Does anyone know, how i can change the number of particles?

Grass in games are meshes most the time if not all the time (I think). If you are using Blender Game Engine, I suggest just using nice textures.

Nice tute, but perhaps a little less time on going to the 3d view change tab, one of the best things about Blender usage is the ease of shortcuts, ie use the num pad to change the 3d view 1 for front 7 for top etc? Plus you dont have to switch to top view to rotate it orthographically (from the top) just rotate about the vertical axis (z)?
