Fino's used to be The Lees Club - they had punk bands on in 1978 - The Lurkers played there - and Cyanide - it's a shame that it wasn't going earlier or that it didn't last longer cause there was nowhere for punk bands to play in the North East - just the universities or the City Hall.

This is from someone who knew Mike Emerson,the guy who owned Fino's! I feel sure he would have let Olga in, had he asked...lol...! Sadly Fino's is no more, it was a great nightclub, host to bands like Dance Class. We need more places in Sunderland, to let raw talent rip!!!!!!
