these shoes are too expensive for the short amount of time they last. I bought another type for 125 dollars in may of last year and one of the strings broke in november and ever since they been falling apart. If they were around 60 dollars i would think about buying them again.
nice shoes! :) i'd long wanted to hav a pair of those. problem is, such a pair costs too much here in the philippines so i resorted to buying a merrell instead... :(
The GTX stands for GORE-TEX®. The patented GORE-TEX® membrane makes these shoes 100% waterproof, windproof and breathable so that you stay dry and comfortable under any conditions. The other XA Pro 3D doesn't have GORE-TEX® technology. Hope this helps. :)

So what is the difference between the XA pro 3D ultra and this shoe sounds like the same feature but the gtx cost more?

But as soon as water level gets over the top of the shoe its all over especially with a low cut shoe like these. So not under any conditions.
My advice save ur money forget goretex shoes!

that's true. if you're going to be walking through deep water i would look into different waterproof shoes.

then thats true for all shoes.... but your more likely to need gore tex , then not need it.
