there are gonna be a lot of plot holes in this game if bungie doesn't do it right... For instance, the spartan laser was not in halo CE or in halo 2, so how would the ODSTs get their hands on one? its not like they cam up with a new weapon model in 2 mins... and why of all ppl would ODSTs get a SPARTAN laser?? wtf no dual wielding? not to mention the fact that there shouldn't be any new vehicles or weapons due to the fact that master chief would have used them before/after the ODSTs.

ODST's are the best of the best compared to humans but Cheif is a geneticly and artificial augmented super soldier of course hes going to be better and as for power shields i do agree with you the ODST's should of been issued them it would of increased there effectivness by heaps

the gun was new it is a silenced smg and they also have a silenced pistol that zooms like in halo 1 its really fun ive played the demo they also have gameplay like on horde or nazi zombies on gears of war and cod 5

Ok let this Halo Fan tell you about that part if you noticed there was time limits and stuff that was happening between halo 2 and 3 the explosion was from the two ships being blown to another part of outer space. Then they show what happens after awhile. Also if your wondering what the little icon guy is the green one with a little face thats Halo 3 ODST's mascot. What also happened is the UNSC took some ODST's and marines and sent them to New Mombasa thats New mombasa thats in the picture.

It seems to me that they are taking away all of the things that makes halo, halo. No master chief. No shileds. No fast easy user friendly gameplay, instead replaced by a slow stealthy tactical gameplay (If that's what we wanted then Ghost Recon would have sold 9 million copies! not halo!). If you looked closely at the gun the helljumper was carrying, the gun had like a huge suppressor so I'm assuming this game might possibly be stealthy. I KNOW THAT IVE READ ALL THE BOOKS i am saying that the spartans were chosen as children. when they first began training there were 300 of them. at the end of training there were around 75 left most of those that did not finish training were reassigned because they had to stay in the corps so this ODST might be a spartan-dropout.

What i remember is that there was around 300 but the training facility could host that many so they rolled out half of them (before beginning the training). Then about half of those 150 was either killed or mutated bad during the spartan DNA agumentation. The rest lived on to fight any rebels/covenant

Scout guys? Nonono. ODST also known as "Orbital Drop Shock Troopers" or "Helljumpers" Are the first troops to enter all hotzoones. They drop down in pods from high orbit. (Halo 2: Delta halo mission). Once down on the surface they clear a landingzoon for the pelicans so they can drop of the regular marines, warthogs, scorpions, supplys. etc... They are the UNSC's ELITE strike team (Except for the spartans)

ODST's still have no comparisons to Spartans... A fully developed Spartan can take out 30 ODST's without killing them. A prototype/disfunctional Spartan II was able to kill 4 ODST's and a few marines.
