I watched the one from Songbird2, and while there were more action scenes, I still like this one more. The one she made is too fast and has too much in such a short amount of time whereas this one gives you the time to see what is happening. Also the timing is really good for some hits and when Guy gives the thumbs up, it looks like he's actually saying the lyrics.

This video is already about 4 years old, but now that I am better at making amvs, all I can see when I watch my older vids like this one are all of the mistakes that I made and all of the things I could have done better. It still turned out pretty well though, and it won first place so I cant complain about that.

My video won "Best Action" at NEKOCON 9, which was held on November 3-5, 2006. Songbird21's video (Ganseki no Kobushi) was shown at Anime Boston from April 20-22, 2007. My video predates any public showing of hers by at least 5 months, proof that I didn't steal her idea. Again, it's a common mistake.

The Fighting Spirit (Hajime No Ippo in japanese). It's about boxing, and is one of the few anime I've seen in a while with an excellent english dub. It's your typical Rocky story with a high school kid who gets bullied, is saved by a guy who happens to be a boxer, and then developed a love for the sport. It's pretty exciting and has some really funny moments as well. I'd highly recommend watching it.

I have Adobe Premiere PRO 2.0, it came out in 2006. After Adobe Premiere 6.5, they switched the name scheme to PRO and started back at 1.0 again. I haven't upgraded to cs3 or cs4 yet because it's far too expensive for me right now, but I have been learning after effects to make up for my lack of experience in the special effects area.
