Well, i'd suggest playing a variety of different games that have snipers, rifles (whether they be bolt action, or not-mabey not even sniper rifles, but standardized rifles; no fully auto crap) and pistols. They trained me in other games, and a bit of my own time cut out was used to practice using snipers. In real life. :)

Kootra, if you want a more realistic version of something like this, you HAVE to try Sniper Elite. It's amazing. It's a WWII game still with a bullet--cam, wind, bullet drop, all of that fun stuff. It's old, and might not have the best graphics, but it's an amazing game.
