I can't help but replay this song over and over. Since I tend to listen with headphones, when Kyo starts talking in the middle of the song, it sounds as though he's standing right behind me whispering in my ear. Probably not intended to sound like that, but the way his voice only comes from the left during that part of the song makes it seem like he is.

Just gonna throw this out there friends: metal is metal. There's no "Western" or "Eastern" part about it, it's just a very hard rock.

Kyo has said in interviews himself that Dir en Grey changed their sound simply because they felt different about things.

I agree with him in saying that "the music changes with the artist," because when you write, the mood of your poems and songs vary from song to song. I like to see them as changing, just as someone looks at something in a different light.

He's still not over her and at this stage in his life he's angry. But he is slowly moving past all the hurt he felt. I think most dir en grey fans prefer their older music. if im honest, i downloaded uroboros, and found it so hard to get into it. it was just so damn hard to actually feel the music. I was rather disappointed, because when i first heard of them, i downloaded their first album gauze, and loved them. So, I decided to download the most recent one when it came out. I must say, I prefer the album gauze to uroboros...sorry. That's just how I feel

I love their old sound and their new sound, but I think it has a lot to do with my wide taste in music. I enjoy both visual kei/gothic influences as well as hard rock/metal influences. People who only/mostly like visual kei are more inclined towards dir en grey's older sound.
