let me add..this song /by noor jehan ji and surenath nath ji(oth .resting in peace0 surender ji sang lot songs..anmo;l ghadi song kyon yad aa rahe hein-guzre huwe zamane.. he was in a mehfil/private singing this sonf .kiyon yad aara ..the antra is hum bhor ke diye hein.--bhjhte hi ja rahe hein(end of life) and tears were rolling his eyes.after 4/5 days he expired... so were the great people.

Rameshji, very melodiously done! As Jeetendra's reactions indicate, your capacity to move listeners is excellent. Your own dard--we all have our own store of it in our hearts--is obviously reflected in your renditions. I only remember Noor Jahan's glorious number, not any male version. People rave about Noor Jahan a lot , but I like only a few of her songs, all from her pre-Partition days. This one is among them.
