Science is a awesome period. It looks more spectacular though. And becaouse of that it might become more accessible and more influential so i hope. Ty for this upload.
Today, nothing is more important to the future and credibility of science than liberation from the gravity-driven universe of prior theory. A mistaken supposition has not only prevented intelligent and sincere investigators from seeing what would otherwise be obvious, it has bred indifference to possibilities that could have inspired the sciences for decades.

At just about 3:10 into this the video zoomed down like Google Earth onto an old time trading city. Has anyone come up with a historical Google Earth yet? It would be really something if someone could come up with that.
I saw that too! but I still think that says far more about the individual's state of mind, (i.e.; religious indoctrination, the things we are sheltered from, told are bad, never see). I knew a guy, who would watch autopsies while eating, I couldn't, nor would I ever want to, but he always told me, it's all in your head. Kind of like a Jr. Mint LOL

Aww, I'm a bit gutted Hubble is going to be decomissioned. The sad part is it's just getting left up there. I know it would be costly but there should be a mission to retrieve it. For histories sake.
Well, eventually it's going to reenter Earth's atmosphere where it will be guided into the Pacific Ocean. There was a great program about the Hubble on the Science channel recently, mentioning that it will be replaced by a far more advanced space telescope. But yes, it will be a sentimental moment when Hubble is given its final order to shut down.
For my 2 cents, I think it should be pushed into a higher orbit until the funds are available to maintain it saving it from it's fiery demise. Or, perhaps shove it off to the moon where it could serve as a moon based telescope showing the view from the dark side of the moon which we have never seen. Duh....

Few people know that Galileo's middle name was Galilea. So his full name was Galileo Galilea Galilei.

The video was really cool and interesting- until the narrator showed himself-
his blazer with the t-shirt, his trendy glasses, and his poofy, styled hair made me laugh out loud. It's so out-of-place for a video like this.

Could you put these into a playlist?
It's confusing to navigate them, and figure out the correct order.

However, I like how you put the order in the description. :)
That's very helpful. :)

there is the possibility that the vikings created the first telescope.
i would link a relevant source, but im not sure how to here, besides putting the words viking & telescope in to a search engine.
