This is much cruder than 'realistic" animation in the Fliescher Superman cartoons, also an odd choice as westerns were so much cheaper and easier to do in live action

I believe this was produced for the 16mm "home movie market" [note the sub-titles] in 1938. The music heard is recreated from cues used in the first Republic "Lone Ranger" serial released at the time....
