That is not always the case. This one is part of a real one, but at 0:52 here on the right side Nikki and Victor are together. In other openings Nikki even was the first!

I think that the american shows that's seen overseas all have different theme songs and their titles revamped...Knots Landing, and Dallas does.

I think it's alrigh-ish. Does not beat Nadia's Theme by at all, however. Nothing can every come close.
Wow, I sure miss David Lago, and Raul and Brittany together. They had something special. Could not stand Bobby or his contrived storyline. He was fired in the long run anyway, so it was such a waste to see Lago go, right before winning his Emmy. Loved that guy!

definately different. I don't like how they've taken it upon themselves to change the name, the song and the opening style. Just because its shown in French doesn't mean they have to redo the title. Feux de L'amour does not mean Young and the Restless by a long shot either.

Hello, thank you. Feux de l'amour is used both in France and in Belgium. You are right, Feux de l'amour translated would mean "Fire of love", but in Europe even if it is not the correct translation, people are used to that name. In Luxembourg Y&R is simply called in the people's mouth "Genoa City"

I just don't get why they need to have a different name and a different song. Y&R and Nadia's thing are staples of the show and even if they want to have a long opening, they can use the old version of nadia's theme which is over 3 minutes long. I just think that by changing all this, they are taking away from the actual show and making it more their own.
