IQ is becoming less and less trusted but i do think it definitely still shows intelligence somewhat. It just doesn't do it perfectly or account for other useful things like motivation and attention required to actually learn, it pretty much gives a rough estimate of the raw processing power you're born with, it's what you do with it that shows true intelligence. But like i said, it definitely shows something, the guy with the highest IQ was working for NASA by age 8 lol
