(I only use that example because it is the same two riders). It isn't hard to pass a rider that already crashed. And he crashed on his own, I can understand giving Dungey credit if he had been pressuring Stewart. But he wasn't. But anyway, great race!

I like how everyone is making excuses for Stewart, and they ignore that RV1 blew everyone's doors off. Stewart may not be 100%, but he had no bike problems, or injuries (he said so himself).

If stewart was at mid-season form, RV1 would be there right with him, if not ahead.

Schumacher wasn't as fast as Alonso in 2005 and the beginning of 2006 but then almost won the championship. Stewart is amazingly fast in in 2006 was the only one that cou match RC for speed. You don't loose in overnight. RV is at the moment the fastest guy out there but don't forget Stewart was like that not too long ago. He recovered in 09. All riders are stars of the sport but exl reed bigger than JS

I hate to say it but Stewart looks on the verge of being washed up. I definitely don't think he can hang with RV right now. RV is fast and rarely makes mistakes. Stewart has turned out to be one big screw up. There is about an 80% chance that he will crash in every race. I think Stewart will have his moments this season and win 3 or 4 races but he can forget about catching McGrath.

@jcobra09 Im a HUGE RV and Reed fan , Im just used to seeing Bubba up front EVERY race , year whatever . to hear him say I was settling into 4th place is unheard of from Stewart unless he was dead last and fell twice. he was in the top 5 within 5 laps and never progressed . I hope hes not done either I love competition but it dont look good for James or anyone for that matter when it comes to RVs speed
