Tadaridae have DARK and GREY furs, which is sort of unusual for the bats of mild climates. In fact, the most common “vesper bats” are brown, or light-brown, or also “blond”, with light-colored or white chest and belly. Those with whitish belly usually catch prey on the ground, like the common “Myotis” species do. Instead, the dark ones catch it in the air
The nice thing about bats is that you can eat them raw. I think. Maybe with a little mustard on the side. And a pretzel. If you can catch them. The bats, not the pretzels.
