@streetcornerjames im american ive only played snooker three times. basically make a red, then a color, and a red, etc. keep alternating, but spot the colored back up when you make it. reds are worth one, while a colored is worth the number on it, keep going til someone has 147 points.

my best fluke shot was when the pink was resting against the cushion about 10cm to baulk from the middle pocket, the cue ball about 3 inches from the opposite cushion, about 15cm from the middle pocket. I cannoned the pink in an attempt to double it in, but instead it leapt into the air, looped over, hit the opposite cushion and went straight into the middle pocket.

@allgoodftw Similar rules but there are some major differences, like the order you have to pot in toward the end of the game... also snooker tables are a lot bigger than pool tables - so you've got to be a lot more accurate
