It would also covers minor surgeries like gallbladder removals.
i don't have anything like that around here-besides I have health insurance so I would have to just pay $20 for an office visit. I go to a doctor's office. Sometimes walk in clinics but same $20 co-pay-NEVER INCLUDES LABS. You see a federal supplemental would be most helpful (or if used as a primary insurance would limit the cost of hospitalization to $100,000 per illness incident) since it will focus on prevention and going to the doctor for checkups and low cost meds (generics).
Many cultures from all over the earth include insects in their diet. There is a restaurant in California that serves bugs-don't knock it until you tried it. I had fried termites (fried in vegetable oil) and it surprisingly tastes like pineapple! Crickets have this shrimp flavor. But don't expect me to be cooking bugs-they give me the heebee jeebies! Keep in mind I"m VEGAN-however, bugs are an exception because tons of bugs are killed with insecticides anyway so might as well eat them instead!

But considering I pay $456 a month with Blue Cross Blue Sheild, am 49 years old, just to have individual coverage and I am in perfect health and on NO prescriptions-I'd take the higher taxes anytime. What I pay in health insurance I could make a house payment with. It's REDICULOUS. And I just a notification of RATE HIKE. Health insurance IS cutting my throat. Literally.
This $456 a month for blue cross blue shield is a MONTHLY payment and I have a $500 deductible. If I end up in the hospital I pay 20% of my bill, but it has a max out of pocket after dedutibles ("Golden Rule") 20% of a, for instance, $100,000.00 bill is quite a chunk of change.
I still think people under 65 should have a kind of "supplemental insurance" which means doctor visits and clinics should be substantially reduced with labs. The major medical should still be up to the individual. This focuses on PREVENTION-don't wait until a catastrophe-catch it early with checkups. Those without a major medical it should have a limit of $100,000.00 per hospitalization incident. Most American ABUSE their bodies with McDonalds and KFC fried shit also many smoke & abuse alcohol.
The gurus of health insurance who met with the President over the weekend and promised to reduce health care costs by $2 trillion have now reneged on their promise. Saying that the President "substantially overstated" their promise of the weekend, they now want to withdraw any commitment to reduction of cost at all. Actually this supplemental federal plan (and limited hospitiazation covering $100,000 per illness incident) would save hospitals a lot of money focusing on PREVENTION, going to the doctor for check ups and LOW cost labs and LOW cost generic meds-then people can get diagnosed for diabetes or hyptertension and not wait until they get stroked out or have a heart attack-CATCH IT EARLY SAVES A LOT OF MONEY!! It would also covers minor surgeries like gallbladder removals.

i don't have anything like that around here-besides I have health insurance so I would have to just pay $20 for an office visit. I go to a doctor's office. Sometimes walk in clinics but same $20 co-pay-NEVER INCLUDES LABS. You see a federal supplemental would be most helpful (or if used as a primary insurance would limit the cost of hospitalization to $100,000 per illness incident) since it will focus on prevention and going to the doctor for checkups and low cost meds (generics).

Many cultures from all over the earth include insects in their diet. There is a restaurant in California that serves bugs-don't knock it until you tried it. I had fried termites (fried in vegetable oil) and it surprisingly tastes like pineapple! Crickets have this shrimp flavor. But don't expect me to be cooking bugs-they give me the heebee jeebies! Keep in mind I"m VEGAN-however, bugs are an exception because tons of bugs are killed with insecticides anyway so might as well eat them instead!

I'd be happy if I could just get a supplemental insurance for my major medical. Costs of labs for routine tests, & any kind of tests, are extremely prohibitive despite the fact I have health insurance which I'm paying $456 a month for and I have NO health problems. SO BECAUSE my health insurance is so expensive, I hardly ever go to the doctor! (Fortunately my recent check up I'm in PERFECT health! but I paid hundreds for it due to LABS with a $500 deductible.) My health insurance is KILLING ME!

A national health care system would require substantially HIGHER taxes! Without a doubt!-ACROSS THE BOARD. But considering I pay $456 a month with Blue Cross Blue Sheild, am 49 years old, just to have individual coverage and I am in perfect health and on NO prescriptions-I'd take the higher taxes anytime. What I pay in health insurance I could make a house payment with. It's REDICULOUS. And I just a notification of RATE HIKE. Health insurance IS cutting my throat. Literally.

This $456 a month for blue cross blue shield is a MONTHLY payment and I have a $500 deductible. If I end up in the hospital I pay 20% of my bill, but it has a max out of pocket after dedutibles ("Golden Rule") 20% of a, for instance, $100,000.00 bill is quite a chunk of change.

I still think people under 65 should have a kind of "supplemental insurance" which means doctor visits and clinics should be substantially reduced with labs. The major medical should still be up to the individual. This focuses on PREVENTION-don't wait until a catastrophe-catch it early with checkups. Those without a major medical it should have a limit of $100,000.00 per hospitalization incident. Most American ABUSE their bodies with McDonalds and KFC fried shit also many smoke & abuse alcohol.

The gurus of health insurance who met with the President over the weekend and promised to reduce health care costs by $2 trillion have now reneged on their promise. Saying that the President "substantially overstated" their promise of the weekend, they now want to withdraw any commitment to reduction of cost at all.
