  • I want my own Ndugu!

  • This music is from "American Beauty"

  • I like this movie and it's not that bad that everyone else saids, but those viewers hate that movie. I know, but the movie gets amazing, but for me it's good and decent!

  • the ending made me cry

  • The scene of him setting down to pee - hilarious! Shows the true - ultimate goal - of virtually every American wife: The eventual emasculation of their husband! LMAO!

  • First time a movie really made me cry, I love Jack Nicholson and I love Ndugu!

  • I love this movie. When I first saw it back when I was 20, I thought it was really boring. But now that I'm 29, I love it and I can relate to it. I guess that just comes with getting older.

  • love this movie! can someone tell me the name of the song @ 1:25 please

  • @ripmowt

    Afrikaan beat from bert kaempfert.

  • I looooooove love love this movie it's kinda sad how he feels lonely but it's true i study about them :)

  • Great movie! The writing and the acting in the movie were terrific. It was shocking to see Jack Nicholson play such a subdued character.

  • This movie is sooooooooooooooooooo funny.

  • Underrated. Who can even remember this film? It deserves so much more.

  • i own the 36 ft winnebago used in the movie. ive owned it since they finished the movie. in fact im selling it if interested. brianwc@fuse.net

  • @TheOptimistPrime Because they're all living it. They're looking at their own life and thinking, "what was this about? It's boring and normal".

  • I have wondered what the name of this film was since I was 7.

I loved this movie, but I only got to see it once. I got to eat home-made subs, and watch it.

Eight years later, I've finally rediscovered the title. This is truly a fantastic day ^_^

  • @cavegoat13 ugh, i feel old.

  • @cavegoat13 Glad you re-discovered this movie. I saw it in Taiwan in 2003. There was only 1 other person in the theater, as it was like a Tuesday afternoon. I watch the DVD everytime I have an extra day off.

  • I think lousy marketing was really to blame for the "under rated" statue of the film. It was marketed as a zany comedy when it isn't until Kathy Bates comes in that the film lightens up a bit at around the two-thirds mark. The rest of the film is rather heavy and will probably be far too depressing for the many people out there living in a similar "silent protest" manner.

  • breath catching, brilliant 5 stars

  • great movie, maybe the best of Nicholson .."who is this old woman living in my house"

  • love it!

  • I've known countless men/women (but mostly men) who end up like this. They have no constructive activities during their lives, so when they retire they have nothing to do.

  • jack nicholson's take on a lonely old mans soul search

  • what's the name of that song at the end-ish? that's the name song from american beauty!

  • @LunaonCrack

Sounds like "Jakatta - American Dream"

  • @LunaonCrack
